Ruben Diaz Sr.
PresidentRuben Diaz Sr. is one of the founders of Diaz Group LLC and is one of the most important members in the group. With his 35 plus years of experience in the horticultural field and his keen ability to motivate employees, he has helped the family business grow and keep the quality of work to the highest standards. His passion is to interact with customers and to guide his employees in their path to success.
Vice PresidentRafael Diaz is one of three founders and a key member of Diaz Group LLC. With over 20 years of experience in the field, he has built the company from a ‘four employee operation’ to a household name in the industry. Horticulture is a way of life for him, with most of his knowledge coming from hands on experience and his multiple years of landscape management studies from one of the best Horticultural schools in the Chicagoland area. He is a detail-oriented individual who pursues one project at a time to ensure complete satisfaction from his clients. Besides his role as a leader, his biggest passion is being able to bring design to life and be the best landscape and hardscape designer.
Ruben Diaz Jr.
Director of General OperationsRuben Diaz Jr. is one of the three founders of Diaz Group LLC. He possesses extensive education in business and landscape management from Northeastern Illinois University and Joliet Junior College. His knowledge of the trade has played a key role in the company's expansion. His role in the company is to strategize growth and maintain strong customer relationships. His responsibilities include securing municipal contracts, snow removal services, expansion, and the supervision of all operations. His passion is the company's extensive snow removal services, which has grown from a small one-truck operation to one of the top snow and ice control providers in the Chicagoland area.
Landscape Management DirectorRoberto Diaz is a landscape management professional with over 15+ years of experience working in planning, project management, and customer relations. As a landscape manager, he works managing day-to-day operations with current clients as well as acquiring new accounts. He is passionate about encouraging and training employees to take on new roles within the company keeping in mind the importance of providing the best service for its clients. Roberto developed a love landscape management at an early age working with his father from which he learned the importance of a strong work ethic. He is a people person whose personality has allowed him to maintain long-term relationships with his clients, which he values deeply. During his spare time Roberto enjoys reading self-motivation books, which have, enable him to become in tune with himself.
Chief Operations ManagerJesse Nevarez has been with Diaz Group LLC since 2011. His responsibilities include: managing installation crews, logistics and customer service in the field. He has a background in masonry and concrete management, and a degree in construction management. He utilizes his leadership and technical skills to oversee excellence in all of the landscaping and hardscaping projects.
Office ManagerDelia joined the Diaz team after attending Triton College in 2009. She started as an administrative assistant and worked her way up the ladder becoming the office manager and taking over the accounting department. Today, she handles the company’s finances and maintains strong relationships with our vendors.
Office CoordinatorOscar brings strong leadership skills and 4 years of customer service to the team. Before becoming full time at Diaz Group LLC, he was a seasonal outdoor specialist and worked on various landscaping projects. He holds education from Northern Illinois University and Kishwaukee Community College. His primary goal is to provide clients solutions to their outdoor projects.
Logistics / SalesOmar is a proud graduate of the world famous Dale Carnegie course. He began working at Diaz Group LLC in the summer of 2011 as a driver and later became logistics manager. Today he is part of our sales team and continues to work hard to meet all his customers' needs. He enjoys playing sports, listening to music, spending time with family and friends.
Shop ManagerSteve joined the team on November 2013. From the moment he arrived, he was determine to work hard and be a team player. His knowledge of automotive engineering has been a great addition to the team. Some of his responsibilities include; organization of plant material, inventory, vehicle inspections, and shop safety.
