You have been involved in the landscape services industry for over twenty years. What do you enjoy most about the landscaping business?
It’s the simple things. Even after so many years, I still find great satisfaction in completing a landscape project and seeing the faces of happy customers. They make it all worthwhile.
You grew up in Arandas, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. What do you miss most about your original hometown? Do you ever go back?
I do go back but unfortunately not very often. Believe it or not, I really miss the food. Birria is a traditional dish from my home state of Jalisco. There is nothing like birria tacos with homemade tortillas.
As an outdoorsman, you enjoy taking your family camping, hunting, and fishing. When and where did you pick up these hobbies?
Ever since my son was born, about ten years ago, I have enjoyed doing these things to teach him outdoorsman skills. Things like camping and fishing are opportunities for my family and I to pass time together, which means a great deal to me.
