Our core values aligned perfectly with Breakthrough’s mission, making this collaboration even more meaningful. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them.
Learning from El Valor
Visiting El Valor allowed us to gain insights into their incredible mission. Established in 1973 by the late Guadalupe A. Reyes, El Valor is a multipurpose organization that empowers thousands of families in Chicago and surrounding communities through direct services. Their efforts span from supporting people with disabilities to promoting early childhood development, enriching youth, strengthening families, and fostering leadership. We are excited to participate in upcoming service hours with them.
Attending Casa Central Summer Fiesta
Casa Central’s dedication to transforming lives and strengthening communities, with a particular focus on Hispanics, deeply resonates with our values. Supporting this event allowed us to experience an evening of live music, delicious food, and breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Through comprehensive and family-centered programming, Casa Central empowers individuals to build hope for the future, creating a sustainable, higher quality of life for its beneficiaries.

We are eagerly looking forward to participating in a volunteer event for the Big Shoulders Fund, an independent charitable organization that supports schools with demonstrated need, providing quality and values-based education for children in Chicago. Supporting The Love Fridge Chicago
The Love Fridge Chicago is a collective that practices mutual aid grounded in food, driven by kindness, generosity, and love. Their mission is to combat food scarcity and food waste while nourishing communities in need. As volunteers from across Chicago, we will collaborate with local partners to place community refrigerators throughout the city, ensuring access to food 24/7 where possible.
Volunteering at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital
